The Met Gala once again took over NYC - and our social feeds. This year’s theme, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”, paid homage to one of fashion’s greatest designers on one of fashion’s biggest nights.

Content mentioning the Met Gala garnered over 285 million total actions and 916 million total video views across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.1 The hashtag #MetGala, also dominated Twitter Trends the night of, driving over 3.4M mentions.2


The red carpet was graced by top stars from around the world- showcasing their interpretation of the theme with one-of-a-kind looks. Some of the most talked about celebrities of the night on Twitter were Jennie, Rihanna, Doja Cat, Anne Hathaway, and Cardi B.2
